Dear Katia,
I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed the day you put together for us! It was just perfect. Alice was wonderful!! We had so much fun making pasta and then eating it! And the balsamic tour was so informative and we could feel the passion they have for their product. We’re taking quite a bit home with us. Anyway, thank you again. We will be sure to book another tour on our next visit!

I did a 2 days guided tour with Katia, Emilia Storytellers. I was interested in both the culture and cuisine in Italy, so that’s why i chose Emilia Storytellers, as they do the perfect balance between the food and the culture! My first day was an experience of a traditional lunch, that included learning how to make tortellini and lots of other goodies and also experiencing the atmosphere, the talk and so much more. I really enjoyed every moment of it and learned so much and had such a good time with the very kind ladies!! The next day I had chosen the parmigiano, balsamico and lunch in the end tour. We were at a real DOP Parmigiano producer and saw the whole production while Katia was very good at explaining to us how it all functioned. In the end we got to taste the cheese and eventually could buy!! For the production of balsamic we visited a DOP balsamic producer and also this visit we learned so much and tasted. In the end we had a great lunch and such great talk, all together, while having traditional food from the region that Katia also could tell us lots about. These 2 days made me become even more interested in the cuisine and culture and I definitely have to go on a tour (or several) again! Katia is an amazing woman who is very entertaining and the perfect tour guide, as it really is to feel how much she loves to do this. Also, I really love how she respects the authentic things, not making it touristic, just trying to show the real italian cuisine and culture.
