LET US PRESENT OUR REGION

Emilia Romagna:
a land full of stories
and the foodie-paradise.

Emilia gets its name from the Ancient Roman “Via Æmilia”, which is the main artery of Emilia Romagna.

Bologna and Modena. Bologna, the capital, is named “la dotta, la grassa, la rossa” (the learned one, the fat one, the red one) with its 40 km of Porticos, which have been nominated as a Unesco Heritage siteModena, a demure and hard working town, is best known for the famous tenor Luciano Pavarotti and the great chef Massimo Bottura.

A land that has always been the cradle of good life and good food, with the vibrant tourism in Rimini and other seaside resorts on the Adriatic sea and the culinary legacy left by Pellegrino Artusi, acknowledged as the Father of Italian cuisine.

A popular destination for car and bike lovers, who can find the most renowned brand names, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, and Ducati, just a few kilometres one from the other.

A full variety of landscapes, from the rural Po Valley to the biodiversity of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, just a stone’s throw from the soft Tuscan Hills.

Emilia Romagna is home to food, art and nature in all its manifestations.
