The Emilia-Romagna region is having an unprecedented boom in tourism, especially for food and wine holidays. Thanks to the virtual pen of renowned food and wine reviewers, travel bloggers, food bloggers, and influencers, Bologna and Modena have become top destinations for food-trotters.

Bologna for it is known as “the Fat”, in modern words the “food city”, Tortellini, and Mortadella, to mention a few. Modena for Lambrusco wine, Traditional Balsamic Vinegar and for the Osteria Francescana, a three-Michelin-star restaurant run by chef Massimo Bottura, declared the best world restaurant in 2016.

This vast culinary panorama led to a huge number of gourmet tours, food tours, wine tours, food experiences, cooking classes, etc. So much so that picking one is not so easy, we guess.

What should one expect from Emilia Storytellers?

In our Artisanal Food Tours we tell the stories of passionate people who work to preserve territory intact and struggle in favour of artisanal food products against globalization. We show the strong family vocation of our artisan producers. We try to make our guests feel part of our family. We try to create a special moment, because food or wine tastes special only if you live an emotion.
