Mini-chefs at the Farm

Mini-chefs at the Farm

Last 18 August, our Educational Farms welcomed two wonderful Japanese families. With their kids, Mari and Yoko enjoyed a cooking class to learn the Emilian art of homemade Pasta. Rolling the dough by the rolling pin and making with their hands some of our most typical stuffed pasta such as Tortelloni.

Kids have become Minichefs for one day thanks to our Educators who have designed especially for them some creative workshops… With natural pigments they have made their own artistic picture and they have met the nice animals of the farm! A day spent in the beautiful landscape of the Bolognese Apennines, with Emilia Romagna’s food and traditions always protagonists.

This is only one of our proposals of kid-friendly tours for those families of foreign tourists arriving in Modena or Bologna and looking for a kid-dedicated experience, besides the classic food tours on Parmesan and Balsamic vinegar.

Our day at the farm can be also a walk to the discovery of the biodiversity of the Historical Parc of Montesole in Marzabotto, Bologna, a picnic in the wood, a treasure hunt, a workshop with wool or felts, the vegetable garden experience… The chance to learn about the rural territory of the Bolognese Apennines in an easy and kid-friendly way together with our educators.
