Educational Farms: kid friendly tours for the whole family

By “Fattoria Didattica” (educational farm) in Italy we mean a farm that welcomes and educates families, schools and kids, in order to show its rural reality, through direct involvement in creative and educational activities.
Our Educational Farm is:

  • a farm immersed in the nature of the Bolognese Apennines, run by the three sisters Bea, Cri and Emma, who are gifted with a pronounced artistic streak and a great passion for animals
  • an experience where you will endure close contact with nature, that offers fun experiences for families and children of all ages: picnics in the woods, grape picking, baking bread… Activities will vary with each season
  • a cheerful day in the countryside to discover the most rural Italy, where even an old-style glass showcase tells the true story of an Emilian family
  • the wonderful opportunity for children to encounter the farm animals (thanks to the Pet Education), meet Assuntina, Chopin, Gaia and Rosamunda, and the chance to develop their imagination and creative skills by taking part in many workshops.

The activities dedicated to children include different workshops depending on their age (from 2 to 13). If requested, our Educational Farms can entertain the children while the parents are busy following other Artisanal Food Tours.

Are you travelling with your dog? Our dog-sitters can take care of him/her.
